They do resume tour early next year but their schedule is booked with multiple award show appearances and they’ll probably attend year end shows (gayos). Winter also just hinted a few days ago that they *might release a Christmas song. SM is planning on releasing an SMTown album for their 30th Anniv + a couple SMTown concerts on January 2025 too so…

aespa’s case looks like lack of promo to me. Koreans aren’t even aware it came out or having a CB until a couple of hours WTMW was released lol It’s slowly climbing up the charts now and it’s currently 75th at Melon.

From what I observed, Karina has a bit more consistency while Winter has huge spikes here and there.

It also probably helps that Karina is insanely active in bbl (she makes sure to post daily and apologizes when she misses a day like- 💀) and engages with fans the most too (she’s been on an IGlive addiction lately since aespa started doing it a few weeks ago lol). There’s even a meme in MYville how the members (specifically Winter) appears more on Karina’s bbl than their own lmao

SNSD was how I got into Kpop (early 2010) and aespa is the reason why I’m still in it. Might be the last group I stan before going full casual but yeah, I still do check up on Soshi members from time to time.

Because they’ve been hella busy the past couple of months. Winter and Ningning even had to sit out a couple of schedules during Girls era due to being sick, afaik Winter was running on IVs to keep her going.

Anyways, they just wrapped up their mini showcase tour (9 shows), SMTown (4 shows) TGC and 48381027 other media appearances and endorsements about 2 weeks ago then the girls took a week break after (NN went back to China, Giselle to Japan, JMJ to their hometowns). They’re back together just a day ago to get ready to fly off Paris tomorrow for Fashion Week and an offline fansign the day after. There’s KAMP LA that’s coming in a few weeks too so yeah…

Now that I think about it… when they had their only 2 uni festival appearances, it was on the same day, back to back shows (they literally changed in the car otw to the 2nd university) then they had an MV filming right after 💀

Best bet is IG and Bubble. Most SM artists livestream from IG and last time I heard, bbl was working on integrating a livestream feature into their app. aespa recently did a Tiktok live and Twitter space for Coachella too so there’s that as well.

I was a 48G fan and Sakura has always been popular within the JP idol community both in China and Japan. Girl averages at least 80k votes (1 vote = 1 CD) per SSK (an annual 48G event where fans vote for their faves to be in the main single. Her votes even went up 140k+ on her last SSK)… and this was before PD48 happened.
