I don't see that one guy who was clearly the best vocalist from the audition? Did he not make it? He was a decent dancer too.

I haven't seen anything on youtube recommendations or algorithm regarding them. I stopped following the audition show after two episodes, but wondering how it went.

Julio Iglesias and Luis Miguel. Ricky Martin too.

Meanwhile NewJeans don't have vocals on the level of AESPA but they still have pretty good vocals and plus all HYBE artists are strong dancers and performers so nothing more needs to be said.

Neither groups are very strong rappers (they also don't rap much) hence I'm factoring that out.

Yep. NJ dancing skills are far superior to Aespa. Their choreography is very difficult. People think it's freestyle and easy, but they're wrong. They have great footwork too. If we're being honest, Karina is one of the weakest main dancers in kpop or gg in general of 4th/5th gen. Certainly weaker than the main/lead dancers from popular groups like Kyujin/Jiwoo(NMixx), Minji/Hanni/Haerin(NJ), Gaeul(IVE), Jurin/Cocona/Maya/Harvey(XG), Xiaoting/Hikaru/Dayeon(Kep1er), Iroha(Illit), all of Lesserafim just to name a few

Rose, Seulgi, Lee-High, and Paul Kim.

AAA was just a walk in the park for them.

I prefer her acting more, but she is a good singer too. I preferred the seasons with Sohyun and Lena Park. They are great soloists. I found Taeyeon to be rather boring. She lacks emotion and not very moving when she sings. She was also on this busking show a few seasons ago.

I don't see it any different than other award shows besides MAMA or MMA. I mean AAA, SBS Gayo Daejeon, Seoul Music Awards, etc. are all the same to me.

XG vocalists are singing various different songs at each of their concerts....they're singing covers of Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, Adele, LadyGaga, etc. songs in different cities of their world tour. It's kinda crazy. This is just a great format. Any kpop gg doing this?
