birthday, i asked again and she said "alright, alright. get your coat". we drove to a place called "skidmark's" in a strange part of town i've never been to before. we went in and she told me to take a seat. she went over to the back and the lights started to dim. guns n' roses music suddenly start playing and i was surprised when my mom took the stage. i've never seen anything like it before. the way she took command of the weird metal bar oddly placed at the center was amazing. i don't know if it was because of what i just witnessed or the stench of the fat cop next to me but i was moved to tears. i couldn't gve anything less than a standing ovation as my mom walked off when the song ended. i hurriedly went over to give her a huge hug. i told her how much i loved her and how proud i was to be her son as i slipped my last 20 on her g-string

don't the agencies make em do team building exercises so they'd grow closer? every awful job i've had made us go through all that even if these companies knew that statistically, a lot of the employees would quit within half a year or something. it worked though. i did get closer to my coworkers. i'd imagine that given the financial risk these agencies take on the group that they'd make every effort to try and make the whole thing work
