kpop fan believe that kpop is popular worldwide
kinda boring story.
i was driving in my car and twice - likey play in my radio
wondering who sing it coz i never heard it
go back home and search solanda me lackey lackey (got the the lyric wrong lol)
fall in love with their visual and start watching their other mv
-story end
Would u still enjoy kpop so much if ur group didnt provide
variety content, reality show, vlog, vlive and all other extra content??
jyp best visual
fight me!
american boy group debut in the us??
so they are on the same lvl as nirvana then?
Display Morewhat i find hilarious is that if some people actually took the time to go to Korea and turn on a radio, or do any research, they would realize that they don't only play JUST k-pop.
and artists that usually no international fans stan (usually soloists), hold number one spot and are literally played more than their faves. this drives me fucking bananas, everyone talks about charting as if their groups only exist. sigh. and surprisingly, a song can STILL be number one over there without 10000000000000 YT views.
i know for sure many fans have no idea what these are, but these all charted high/#1 at some point:

kpop idol music isnt even popular in their own country lmao
dont know their name but usually visual member caught my eyes first
good for international audiance/fan
not so much for korean but u get respect coz u know english
Kpop is not even a dominant genre in Korea
haha true that lmao
even in their own country its not dominant
how do u define dominant genre in the country?
radio play? if radio play then obviously local music is dominant everywhere lol
as far as foreign music here in my country western music still dominant
kpop song also played here but usually on request like bts, bp, twice thats it
other none, that is mainstream radio btw..
ppl still look down on kpop and kpop is make fun everywhere
its still niche and it will be like that kinda same like anime, manga
they all feel more like a model than artist to me :P
both are not.
if they can make their own music then yes
