Display MoreWorst part is, all the people in my office, being mostly 1st level/at the coal face with "public" are trained and haired mostly on customer service skills, not our IT skills. Because we are expected to have exceptional customer service with these deadshits that cant remember a password or do their job properly because Outlook moved the search bar to a new location. So we HAVE to be polite and courteous and friendly. We can't be typical dismissive and rude IT types and actually tell the dipshit they are a dipshit. No... we have to leave that for 2nd level.

That is the standard life of IT. Every company has its share of idiot users and technicians. On the bright side, we get paid well.
