I think an essay was needed for a person who clearly misjudged and was offended by his honest remarks. And please keep in mind that these were translations so words maybe distorted which has also been mentioned by others who have commented within this topic. He also has not mentioned any group so please don't get worked up over a comment which also is a fact. And as for your response about their successfulness, I had to explain why their bond was important in making them successful because you questioned their successfulness and as being an ahgase who was part of the fandom that made them successful I think their bond and honesty was KEY to their success and as much as we like the music, us ahgase like their personality traits just as much because this drew us even more to GOT7.

How do you know he is not a KPOP fan? This is kinda irrelevant. Actually GOT7's success is about the fact that they've been real, true and honest. For example there were times on lives when fans said they were girlfriends of JayB or Jinyoung or they are their boyfriend and they always said no, you're not. This is just one example, Their honesty makes me feel so close to them, I was fans of 1 other group before I came across GOT7 (I'm not gonna mention their names because that will be rude and creating a toxic environment) but they sugar coated their words when fans called them a boyfriend in live videos. So basically, as an ahgase he is right, I've watched this group and other groups too but I've found comfort in their honesty, and believe I'm a person who appreciates honesty more than anything in any kind of relationship. And the reason they didn't get as popular as "MORE popular groups" is because they never got that promotion from their agency, they were treated badly by JYP's agency. It was a group that was formed to bring JYP entertainment out of bankruptcy but nobody expected GOT7 to get this big which is why JYP entertainment not promoted/neglected them but even after this treatment they are 1 of the top groups, even after they left their agency and also focusing on their career they are staying in touch and always meet up. Please do read up about the treatment of GOT7 under JYP entertainment. And he only said the truth but if the truth sounds bitter to you, maybe that is not his problem then but yours.
