Can I ask why so many people had such a problem with Heechul and Momo dating? As far as I know, Momo is a grown ass woman (well into her 20s) and people were treating her like she was some small child that they felt like they had to protect him. Shouldn't she be allowed to make her own decisions about who she chooses to date instead of having a bunch of random people on the internet chime in on her personal business? Did I miss something? Was there something else reported about him or something? I don't get it.
Some people seem to not understand that Momo and Heechul are both consenting adults that aren't doing anything wrong by dating each other

Kids barely get support or are believed. A parent verbally abusing, physically and sexually assaulting their own child is completely fine as they pay for their food and clothing and must love them deep down. Society turns a blind eye and Gaslights the kid if they try to speak up so yes it is normalised.
Asian countries and bollywood glorify being parents and respecting elders to a point where those fkrs can stab you then people will say your overreacting and we're lucky to get a blessing in a permanent form. They are using religion and skewing it to make their lives better.

Jeff feels guilty and never speaks out about his abuse again. He becomes depressed and later commits suicide.

There are a lot of people who try to justify physically punishing a child by saying that they personally "turned out fine". It shouldn't be that way because, regardless of your own experience, not everyone is the same as you and a parent should not have to resort to beating their child when they've done something wrong.

Another thing I wanna add is that I often get to hear things like ' Who knows where I would have been if my parents didn't beat me up when I did something bad. I'd be living on the streets'( or be a criminal or things like that). Some adults seem convinced that they turned out to be what they consider a decent human being because their parents beat them when they were children so when they do the same to their children I imagine they justify it as ' it's for child's own good. It's pretty messed up because sometimes it isn't a just little spanking
