I wouldn't be so sure about that. These all happened in tokyo dome concert just few days ago. aespa might be in their real world phase right now but there is no saying that they wouldn't go back kwangya.

Plus isn't it just last week that sm announced an entire centre/division/whatever dedicated to naevis only?

the new snippet of Better Things sounds like sm made it more upbeat than the demo.

I'm not familiar with single albums from sm, or if there is any. But from what i've seen from other groups, single albums usually has 1-2 songs only. So i think the possibility is that this single album will really only has Better Things while the unreleased songs would be in the next mini.

regarding the first demo, I read that the demo is not "better things". The demo that is circulating is a song has been rejected by SM.

Maybe the aesthetic will be leaning more toward kwangya-mermaid-cutesy? The song itself (if the demo is anything to go by) actually doesn't sound all that cutesy. It's more bright but chill? Similar to LTS, maybeeee a little bit more interesting because of the instrument but still in that same vibe you know.

This sounds like a game's tune?

The second one..... i used to play that game on mobile game machine thingy (i forget the name). I can't find the tweet now, but i've seen what might have been clues from their teams (like choreofrapher, stylist, etc) for this and it included some kwangya-esque items so definitely curious this is not purely real world-cutesy as we thought??? The flower teaser isn't exactly cutesy (or at least imo)
