Same. I liked how Lolla had not much background music at all. This one had more but what can you do.
Personally I love the live band version of their songs. They are more free with how they sing the songs. Beomgyu also shines more then usually. The beginning of this very concert he seem Yeonjun changing his tone to overpower the background and he too changed his tone. It was deeper stronger. It was great to hear it.
i don't mind a bit of backtrack for several challenging songs, I just hate that it's such a norm than even what's supposed to be true live isn't anymore

it's so good and so live, something kpop desperately needs when everyone, txt included constantly has backgrounds even when they can deliver the song, it kind of saddens me

The issue i'd have with it is the way she's very highlighted in the teasers to lead to that. I don't share the anger their fans have but I understand the frustration from constantly using her popularity while putting her at the background, it's not a unique case but there it is very blatant

mmh I will see the full song but for now weirdly enough, my favorite title of them/most coherent is wing wing

I thought he seemed like a nice dude and I liked his and joy's letters when they were announced but damn that plus the blackface is a big yikes

im too scared to even hold an expectation.
yea like how does birthday photo books project have better promotion and rollouts than solo debuts?
that's one of the things that annoys me, the way merch and non music stuff not only are overwhelmingly there but also how it's promoted better than music related stuff. Sometimes they even release merch/dvd around the comeback announcements and it's such poorly thought of them even considering the profit they'd make of both

great use of the latest trends while getting for sure the money from a brand

I was just randomly reading a list of recently debuted groups and noticed a repetition pattern and when making this thread added their songs to it and I actually thought - wow, MAKAMAKA sounds pretty good. I was surprised. I like it.
as elitist as it may sound, majority of nugu groups when they go on music shows don't stick out or it's not well enough produced which is something I can get as there's less money involved just like for styling. But once in a while you get truly good music and it's enough to pull you through.
I had the same thing with woo!ah!, I hope maka maka continues on that way!

Maka Maka caught my eyes or rather my ears while I was watching parts of inkigayo today, I thought the song was catchy and well done!

maybe xiaoting for buying power especially but I wouldn't underestimate bahiyyih's overall fandom power, hiyyihlights being dissatisfied with how wakeone handles her and the group, they are probably not willingly buying as much as they could but I could be wrong!

Taehyun has already done it several times and antis have a field day with that but he never guilt tripped, it's either after a joke (putting yeonjun in the fridge at 1 million sales) or fear it won't work out like in lollapalooza when it ended up having tons of moas. As long as it's not forceful, using the parasocial relationship, there's no issue, it's their job and they are promoting it.

didn't know much about them but the letters they wrote when the news broke were so sweet (also their song is great)
-
it's so good, i love the groove, the singing, the rapping, the dancing, everything!!

People forget that Weverse is not only Hybes. The way they shrug they shoulder and redirect complaining Moas to BH about subs I think Weverse is not only a Hybe company. So the magazine and the music critics who post articles in it also talk about other groups, not only Hybe groups. Overall the biggest groups in the us are the one they mentioned. Personally I think the article is heavily biased and not even mentioning TXT TCC album achievements? Best album? Longest album run in BB last year? They talked a bit about Minisode too and a lot of paragraphs about the other groups so I think this article is based on this critics taste.
yeah me too
It's too bad because a few other thinkpieces were great and i still rever weverse mag for those amazing member interview and photoshoot we've been getting the past comebacks but yeah it's about individuals, but there has to be a guideline or like someone higher up to approve those articles
