Mina has always been like that. It's just who she is. She likes staying at home an being an idol just worsened it but I don't think you should generalise all the members using her as an example because her personality is opposite of what an "idol" represents. I am almost 100% sure that most of the members will want or if they haven't though about it, enjoy doing solo activities

There are many problems that are an obstacles for Twice to grow bigger but I would put some of them. The ones that will not trigger Once.
1. Div3 just can't manage to chose music direction that suits the members the best. They are afraid to take risks by giving Twice completely different sound and look and keeps the mediocre way of following trends, not making them. The prime example is ICSM. If it sounded like the first 3 teasers (80s the Depeshe Mode vibe), in my opinion it would had been huge hit and it would had brought them completely different image and feel to the group.
2. Even if they manage to get a huge hit, JYPe are just unable to take advantage of the opportunity that comes with it to make the group more popular
3. Their members individuality was drowned over the years
4. The way they avoid and ignore China at all cost. They don't have to promote there but come on, you have Mandarin speaker in the group. There are so many roundabout way to make use of it and still keep Tzuyu away from China.
