yea their core fanbase is actually pretty big and has idol tendencies(aka obsessive fans aka ATMs) which allows them to sell pretty well(for a band). their songs are quite jpop-y which might be why they're only getting picked up by the niche band crowd, it's honestly a shame since their songs are really fucking cool

the companies put restrictions yes but there's one main thing idols sell which innately restricts a lot of things they can do

no. even winning big awards are useless like mma or mama.

the biggest help is getting to perform in these big award shows and going viral
