Well...
SNSD left a long-lasting legacy for girl groups which is still replicated/influenced by them to this day. They have 8 #1s in KR. They're the only GG to win AOTY for two continuous years (2009 and 2010) on Melon.
Twice used to be the GG with the most PAKs at one point and their popularity and impact was (and is) no joke. Their songs became viral and they have 9 back-to-back #1s in KR which is no easy feat.
BP is the most popular GG in the west currently. They have 3 #1s in KR yet that didn't stop them from achieving far more internationally. They hold significant records for a k-pop GG and even for GGs in general which is no easy feat either + a fucking MBE.
Album sales wise - Twice is unmatched.
Touring wise - BP is unmatched.
SNSD also had/have good numbers as well regarding album sales and touring, but not to the level of Twice and BP I might say.
Answering the question, I would say: Twice is still the most successful GG out of these three in KR currently as they still have some records that aren't broken by another GG yet. BP is the most successful k-pop GG internationally and the first to cause an impact in the west since 5H (LM deserved!)
Although going by legacy, overall impact and standing alone, SNSD defeats them both, not only going by the years SNSD has on them (8 for Twice and 9 for BP), but also the fact that ITNW is the most iconic debut song for a GG & Gee is THEE k-pop song (Oh!, RDR, Hoot, The Boys and IGAB are iconic as well and even IGAB won a YT award), and their concepts inspired most GGs if not every single GG out there. I wouldn't be surprised if there are some records that are still held by SNSD that we don't know about.
So I'll vote for SNSD. They weren't called the NGG for nothing, and they were the first GG to be referred as such.
Twice and BP are literally on their way to establish their own legacies tho, we can see that with Weeekly and aespa, just to name a few.
As for NewJeans, they're going strong. Good for them. NJ really are just starting, so I wouldn't call them the most successful k-pop GG for now, but they have everything in them to become a top GG of their generation, if not the #1 GG of their gen (although my intuition says they'll eventually become just that
) and if they keep going as strong as they're now (with their big popularity, awards won, records broken, etc.) they might even become the #1 k-pop GG of all time.As for the #1s, I got them from Wikipedia
