People need to stop excusing idols for this kind of behaviour. It’s like when fans say idols might not know blackface is offensive, or might not realise the N word is a bad word. Then Irene screaming at someone until they cried was dismissed as a “bad day”. Excusing people for everything won’t help them grow.
Plenty of idols I like have messed up and I won’t excuse them for that. I like Gfriend, but this was messed up. Hopefully Sowon can learn from it!

Lisa described her own style as "boyish or neutral girly", so I don't have an issue with the tomboy look as she likes it. But she is clearly made to look like the odd one out a lot of the time.
It is undeniable that YG tries to sabotage Lisa as a main dancer. Kyle and Kiel even said they put dance breaks that were turned down, and she is even shoved to the back of the choreo!
It’s pointless because it’s not like it stops her being the best dancer, it just makes people wish she was at the front more. You are supposed to show the group off at their best, so keeping the best hidden is bad for the whole group. But OT3 have double standards for Lisa so...

Jennie got a lot of hate during Solo because people felt she was favoured, even though YG’s choices are not her fault. Now it’s Lisa gets the most hate from people who claim to be Blackpink fans. Just look at the mess that happened when she got decent lines in Ice Cream.
Sadly akgaes and OT3 fans are a part of the fandom, and Jenlisa being the most popular members will mean they are more likely to get attacked.
As long as there is enough time between the solo releases so they aren’t rushed, I will be happy! Rosé, Lisa and Jisoo should all get a decent amount of time in the spotlight and not have to share it.
I would be fine with all three and then a group comeback providing they didn’t clash. I would also be fine with a group comeback in between Rosé and Lisa’s solos. I’m just happy we are getting them!
They both made that decision together. Blaming her is just straight up misogyny. They are so happy together that they put their love above everything else, and I admire that.

I agree. Of course I would love all the girls solos to do well, but I am just happy they are finally happening. As long as the girls get to make music they want for the fans, everything else is a bonus. With chart reforms people should lower expectations anyway!
Akgaes and OT3 stans cause so much drama and problems in the fandom. That’s the only thing I’m not looking forward to with the solos, the endless comparisons.

All I hope is that Blinks support all four girls (I worry about Lisa in that respect) and that they all love the music they are releasing and have proper promo etc. Anything else is a bonus.
In my personal opinion, Spit it Out was decent but was a waste of Solar’s killer vocals. I was a bit underwhelmed by it.
