They have tried with all kinds of songs/concepts and still couldnt chart well. Cheshire, sneakers, cake.. or even earlier, the more universally acclaimed songs like Loco also flopped
You say that but they all sounded the same to me, with the same formula / sound.
Dance break forced in? yep
Chanting over the top? yep
forcing a point move to make it try and go viral? yep
not using the main vocal? yep
not using the main dancer? yep
same "upbeat" noise music? yep
If they just got given something worth it then wonderful, problem is if the song is shit the company stans and ITZY fans will support it no matter what so JPY will never learn, we need them to flop harder to JYP will wake up and change something, they are on rails right now and I don't see it changing and that's why my interest in the group has never been more then 'Meh'
At least this is how I see it.

Newjeans : I like their debut period the best. Attention and Hype boy are in my Kpop playlist.
Dreamcatcher and Twice are the ultimate queens of consistency for me so their last comebacks have been pretty enjoyable. Set me free, Crayz Stupid Love and Wallflower are masterpiece. I don't get the Set me free hate train at all. I have always enjoyed Dreamcatcher's comebacks. They are the only Kpop group who are always a hit for me.
