Big Bang have poor longevity in charts compared to IU and BTS. Why?

I just observed while reading that digital thread. Chart reforms are not excuses since IU has old songs that chart more than 52 weeks.

They've been number 1 on melon for 3 weeks and still going. That's longer than any other artist this year by a margin

Hmm that’s true. And for those answering for Still Life, that’s a new song. 3 weeks is ok since they are Bigbang. But their other songs like Flower Road and others. Why their longevity are so obviously lower than BTS and IU’s older songs?

traditionally boy groups have had bad longevity - BTS has been a recent exception.
