Bts, IU, Lim Young Woong, Big Bang same day comeback, who will reign?

4 digital monsters. Supposed in a recent upcoming date they all comeback, who will Koreans send to the top of the charts? Melon 1,2,3,4 who will occupy each position?

On melon, I think IU or Big Bang depending on the song. Definitely not LYW - has has a very dedicated fanbase that will ensure top 10 longevity and consistently high hourly ULs - so could push up to #1 or #2 on melon top 100 in early mornings and late at night (when other songs' hourly ULs are lower), but he can't achieve half the daily ULs that IU, Big Bang or BTS can.

On gaon, LYW could beat the others for #1 due to his fans downloading +++

Longevity is another matter and depends on song.

LYW has no chance against any of them, he has a dedicated fanbase that can get him to 200k ul at most, thats it. He could very well get gaon rank 1 in first week because of massdownloading tho.

Considering bigbang now have had their first comeback in 5 years after all the scandals, any song released in the near future is unlikely to peak as high as still life.

In the end none have ever beaten IU when released around the same time when it comes to initial perfomance.

Mere "same day" is not enough for ceteris paribus.

Like Bigbang coming back after a long absence, Or IU coming after "Broker" being another "Parasite" etc., can all skew the picture.

But assuming there are no other advantages or disadvantages, then per the trend IU will dominate the 1st 24 hours or so.

But after that, it could be any one of them, depending on the song etc.

But one thing is for sure, other acts better delay their releases at least by few weeks, if they want to be noticed at all between these giants.

The OP's question was about melon though. His daily unique ULs have never even been half of the top digimons like IU or Big Bang. He just has very consistent, moderately high hourly ULs because his dedicated fans stream nonstop. No doubt he will have high sales and probably would top gaon though
