I really don't have the heart to tell them that the Knetizens who made the post are probably just their own fanbase, it doesn't mean that the whole Korea is in love with them . Legit it's no different from any international fans upvoting/like/rting their own faves because of course everyone would. Not people sharing those posts like "yeah it girl behaviour as she should🔥🔥🔥🔥, look how Korea is obsessed with her" cmon now yall can't be serious

most cringe thing is seeing users go "why would you believe these knetz comments" when their faves are getting backlash with huge upvotes, but then turn around & go "yasss it girl!! koreas pick" when a postive article is posted with less than 100 upvotes..

The proof that they're huge is that big companies are handpicking this idol to represent them because their image sell. No one picks a nugu.

It can be interesting to see how Korean fans react to things sometimes, but when its a post with anything less than 300 upvotes/downvotes it hardly represents the general demographic.

The only time when it can be taken more seriously is if its a naver post with 2000+ engagements cos usually those are things more people really pay attention to like actual big name celebrities or not just entertainment figures.

That makes no sense. General observations aren't so specific. They are called "General" for a reason, but sure lol. Which stans are these, I'm curious, still waiting for an example. Who? Boy group stans? Because everyone knows boy groups fell off in Korean. Domestic popularity isn't something that I've seen any fandom boast about like that unless you are like Aespa or Gidle or StayC, but you would have no reason to doubt groups like that, it's just pure fact that they are domestically popular.

Really, I am curious about your answer. If it's so general, surely you must have a single answer that comes to mind.
