Bouquet of Daisies | poem

  • At first I wanted to write a short story, but nah...

    Bouquet of Daisies

The stars are sparkly on the night sky

As sparkly as his beautiful eyes.

    He smiles at me

    making my cheek turn pink

    like cherry blossoms

    and my heart flutters

    like a robin.

    He caresses my cheek

    looks into my eyes

before he stares at my lips

"May I kiss you?" he asks with a soft voice

He patiently waits for my response

    I shake my head

    No, not yet

He lets go of my cheek

    "It's alright." he says.

"I wanted to give you this." I say

I take the bouquet of daisies out of my jeans pocket

    He looks at the flowers

    "They are beautiful" he says.

He puts his arms around me

    giving me a hug

    "Thank you." he says softly.

    He takes my hand

I feel his pinky against mine

"I promise I won't hurt you," he whispers

    "because you're my daisy"
