Does Hybe’s capitalistic endeavors make you feel disconnected from its core message?

  • Bts upcoming concert seems to have Bts themed hotels, popup cafes, after parties,… seems like Hybe knows how to make money the most out of the companies. Does Hybe’s intense capitalistic approach to business makes you feel disconnected with its motto of “We believe in music” and “Music and artists for healing”?

  • Lol when they went for NFT's I knew all hell broke loose in their comapny direction lmao

hybe rose from being a small company and they ain't got discipline when it comes to big money now.

  • No, every company is capitalist it is just natural

  • Bruh if someone has money and is willing to poay for thses stiff to be happy then yay for them, hybe gave sn option the did not force it on them

But hype is a capatilist company, all the companies are, if one of these directors think like "oh no I would rather do that than making extra big cash" is a stupid director, its business after all. its core message is an advertisement just that

That’s why they changed their motto from music and artist for healing. They realized their new business plans are contradictory to their message.

And there’s nothing capitalistic about Hybe trying to create a festival in Las Vegas. BTS as an act is capable of doing that so why should Hybe restrict them? Even if you want to criticize hybe, it’s not this

this is probably one of the few good projects they have organised..

making money off army isn't a bad thing when they are prepared to give something worthwile in place (turning LV into bts city with festival like activities is certainly that).

hybe has long lost their core message "we believe in music" & even bang oppa has talked more about non music content & nft than his beloved passion, music. money changes anyone & that's just how it is. Hope hybe just knows that all these non music contents are only working for them bc they have bts' brand for it. i don't think this will work longterm.

  • music and making hella bank are not mutually exclusive

  • It was just a facade in the first place.

  • Sometimes I wonder how dumb kpop stans can be and then I see these takes on topics 😪😪
