GOT7 Opinions

I'll be honest: I pity the (ex) members of GOT7. They keep trying to hit it big but it just doesn't pan out for them.

When I first started dabbling in kpop I was genuinely surprised that GOT7 was considered a top group; to me they are the very DEFINITION of mediocre.

Their strength was in variety and even then it was just that one dude, and Jackson had to constantly play the fool. I don't blame him for trying reinvent himself. But yeesh, musically, I personally can't stand him.

The others are just so damn bland. There's nothing there.

I'm not looking for a discussion to this really, just wanted to let these thoughts out. Feel free to state your own GOT7 thinkpieces out though.

They had no identity musically, really if they had better music I think they could’ve done much better

The narrative was that JB was hamstrung by JYP so I expected him to be very productive out of the company but he hasn't been as much as I expected. Their next project will be their first post-JYP album so we can judge then.

I think they are just staying together because of the income their tours generate, especially in Thailand where they play the biggest stadiums. They all seem like pragmatic people. I think it will shake out to Got7 having a once a year comeback to justify new tours.

He literally released one of the best albums of the year.

i think BAM BAM did very well on his own

who cares their music are still good.
