Can Purple Kiss hit it big?

  • They are a mid group right now. But do you see Mamamoo’s sister group become a top group in the future with the music they’re releasing?

    Approved the thread.
  • No they’re a boring group

  • not with songs like memeM

but I see potential in Ponzona-like and Zombie-like songs

  • They remind me of Dreamcatchers. Kpop is so oversaturated right now with all the big companies debuting their groups so these mid-to-small company groups just have harder time to rise.

  • their music is mid, and their concept could’ve been unique but it’s sort of melding with the mass of 4th gen girl groups as they continue on from ponzona.

they also haven’t made a distinct sound for themselves yet which is partly due to their determination to try several genres. they don’t want to be an artist who has a recognizable sound right away at the expense of releasing the same song over and over.

the problem is some artists (kpop or otherwise) have proven they can be versatile while still having a recognizable “sound” even in the several genres they try and pk hasn’t done that. yes, this can be difficult but if other ROOKIE and nugu groups can do it, so could a rookie from a bigger company.

a concept that’s becoming less and less unique, music that’s just okay with a few hits and a few skips, no recognizable sound… and rbw sucks at promoting their groups.

unless they start putting out more unique songs, make their concept more distinct, or create a recognizable sound for themselves… the answer is no.

  • "Mid group" They are as nugu as you can get lol.

  • Market too saturated. Competitions crazy. They won't make it "big", but I think they'll have healthy following of fans in the future, which IMO is fine. They're not lack of talents that's for sure.

PK is as nugu as they get, even from RBW or as Mamamoo's sister. They have some good songs in their discography, but with KPOP- good doesn't mean popularity.

    Good luck to them.
