any kpop concerts outside of south korea have profits.

it will depend on the expense . many singers have low production cost so they can do small arenas.

Top acts have no such issues. To make this assertion, statistical average should be used
Pre-COVID, 2019 the last concert I recollect was IU's Love Poem and she sold out very well indeed.
BTS/Blackpink did fantastic with online concerts during the lockdowns.
Online might actually be cheaper for the acts to produce.
Now Twice has completed a successful tour.
So top acts are doing fine. But yes, I think the mid tier would be suffering.

i think you mean why there are barely any concerts in korea? unless the artist/company can survive a monetary loss.
most kacts will go to the US and other countries bc they aren't as limited in the capacity there, so they can actually have some profits. bts, twice and many 4th gen groups have all gone overseas for succesful concerts recently.

There’s a whole Wikipedia page about all the global tours, what?
EXO did global tours until members entered the military.
In 2019, Blackpink, SKZ, OMG, TXT, NCT 127, Monsta X, Ateez, SuperM, GOT7, RV all had global concert tours. Even smaller groups Astro and Dreamcatcher..
Groups like Monsta X and GOT7 were touring over 2-3 back to back years. Before the pandemic happened, several of the 2019 groups were planning another tour.
