Dont act like SEA is not powerhouse in sales. They are many kpop fans who are willing to buy albums than you can imagine.
SEA (in particular Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam and Indonesia) buy much more than u can expect, just that the sales are going through hanteo certified store like Ktown4u, aladin or YG official store/SM global store etc

Thats the thing, they are all counted as korean sales. There is no official chart domestically that count these Group orders from overseas. If u happen to live here, u can see the amount of resellers + Group orders, you will be able to comprehend. Kpop is super popular in SEA and some people still under the impression that SEA are a bunch of poor people who cant afford albums and only stream / illegal download. Those are so old in the days,time to drop the mindset
