I'm more shocked at catalog outdoing current music....

I'm not. I didn't expect it though. It says a lot if your music has enough replay value to last beyond 1 Year and 6 Months..but I think it might be easier to market older more "established" music too..especially hits.
I was curious to know who are the artists/groups/bands in the vinyl sales list.

I'm not surprised. I can go to Walmart right now and buy a record player and pick from a small, but decent selection of vinyl records. If I wanted to buy a CD player I'd have to order it online and most of the CDs Walmart still carries are either extremely new releases or music for kids (and I don't mean that as a diss I mean it's literally albums made for children's singalongs.)
Being a vinyl collector used to mean you either had to be lucky enough to live in a city with a nice record store or depend on tracking down stuff online. It's just much easier access now. Vinyl covers are generally nicer imo so if you're interested in picking up collecting as hobby then it's the way to go imo.
As expected; mostly "catalog quality" artists/bands.
