late 2018-2019 for me
with the release of regular which got nct to the bbmas, and nct dream's various activities in 2019 i'd say that was the year i noticed the time where they were slowly gaining interest. it wasn't as drastic as during resonance tbh but that's the point where i personally realized "hey, these guys are getting big"
