Yes and I'm going to say it's mainly because of Produce. Produce groups took fans away from rising groups so they could support the new group.

Once the group from Produce disbanded, literally like what...11-12 groups/soloists would debut right after. If that's not saturation idk what is.

Though I'd say Produce had somewhat of an impact, the KPOP market has always been oversaturated, since at least 2012-2013 I'd say. It's just more noticeable now with the rise of the Internet and stuff.

yes it is oversaturated! the music is generic now and everyone is chasing for international fame. not their fault because korea has moved on and oversaturation doesn't help

It is oversaturated but I just focus on my favs

Idk it's not my place to tell a company not to debut a group I just keep up with SM groups mostly I don't pay attention to all the groups from other companies so I feel fine about it
