has BTS hit their peak or is their next album going to be their biggest era yet?

  • That's a lot of ifs 😅. Anyways, just no PTD like song please.

To be honest, it isn't. Only pdogg not going overboard with the high notes and the mature concept are big if's

    - a variation in bts songs is the case most of the time with bts

    - normal priced albums should be the standard (only BE was expensive af)

    - a good roll out + well done promo should also be the standard since bts are hybes moneymakers & deserve nothing less

Now if hybe will wake up and do their job is another big if, but i'm hopeful. In the worst case scenario, maybe umg will force them to treat bts as they should (bts was umg best selling artist in Japan).

  • i dont care if its big or not, i just want good music yknow what i mean

yall focusin too much on the chart and sales. yall are whats wrong with kpop

  • They can hit a new peak if the songs - and specifically the title song - are decent this time.

If it's another Butter/Dynamite/PTD it's still going to need mass fandom support to be a hit.

Dynamite is the number 1 song globl ex US, and 5th global, so they'll be fine.

anyway, hopefully they'll give us something like mic drop or ddaeng

  • I think they hit their peak with butter and PTD end up alienating large part of fandom so, next album will not do much better like BE or MOT7 but it will still be massive hit

Nah i disagree even those "ex-armys'' are still on bts business their exfans are known to be the most obsessed with their exgroup they are just sad about bts not releasing songs they like anymore... Anyways answer op: it will really depend on the concept if its something bad and generic like ptd i can see it flopping for their standards cuz the fandom is getting tired of the happy english pop singles, if its something more hard hitting with more focus on hip hop i can see them reaching new peaks.

You can’t be serious when these are their most gp carried songs on Spotify. BTS doing another dynamite or butter won’t hurt them.

At this point in their career, they should start doing pre release singles that target different markets. BTS having an English single on their album for the international market like US and Japan is a great idea ngl.

But this is just a wish. I’m pretty sure their next album is full Korean although I’m suspicious about the Coldplay track that is rumored to be on BTS album

My Universe happened though. And it is doing way better than PTD. Even giving butter a run for its money in the longevity sector

  • It's hard to imagine BTS returning to releasing regular albums with Korean TTs after this year, so I have no idea what to expect for their next album. I would expect higher sales and bigger streaming numbers overall for the whole album but no clue about the title track.

One thing is that I believe it will be very hard for BTS to ever reach Dynamite-level of success in Korea again, especially if the song is in Korean. Their Korean songs since 2019 have done extremely well for boy groups, but not top tier for idol group songs in general (Black Swan, ON, LGO)
