bts aren't above k-pop. it would be nice if they were but they're still part of a company that operates by k-pop standards. they just have more freedom and creative control than most groups.

This sounds similar like blinks with their "free BP from YG" essays.

A lot of kpop fans really didn't know their boundaries as fans, you're not their momma so stop babying your idols who's a grown up that can make their own decisions.

If you can make your own decisions in your life why would you dictate what your faves should do with their own lives?

Only thing i will say is that its a bit questionable bts renewed in 2018, 2 years before they had to. They were emotionally & mentally all in a hard place, so the renewing is interesting & i dont trust that company of using bts' deep loyalty correctly. The boys seem very confident & in a better place mentally than in 2018, so i believe that they will let hybe know who needs who in that company when they need to

I feel as though when it was just bighit, they had bts best interest mind, now it's this giant monopoly obsessed comglomerate that has it quarterly and year end profits in mind. Since the company expanded, its priorities changed. The company will do what's profitable for the company and as long as it keeps raking in the moola our opinions don't hold weight. Hybe is having this will they won't they moment with bts military drama, so they trying to milk all they can from bts while they still can.

Bts care about their music and their fans and hybe cares about the fans money. It used to be this kind of positive synergy between company and artist, but now it wierd like kind of stilted. Like you can sort of tell the company has more on its mind then bts they're preparing for beyond.

This has turned into a tired rant, I'm falling asleep typing this out on my cellphone my filters have yeeted themselves out the window and I'm rambling.
