Yesterday, an acquaintance of my mother came and asked her to vote for a candidate from a major political party, he advised that my mother would get paid some hundreds bahts if she signed a paper that she would vote this candidate, the number would be multipied if I and my dad signed too. My mother knew such action was not righteous and illegal yet, she said she would vote the candidate. The candidate was the wife of an MP who had long supporting community businesses and the acquaintance was a generous person. This such action of vote buying has long rooted in my country but, it has gotten worse that it is now reaching my household. It sounds like almost everyone in the area is selling their votes.
Something must be done to reset the politic system in my country. It can't just keep going.
