how do i persuade my parents?

last year i brought flowers to the place where me and my late bf met and i want to do it again. the only issue is the place is 6 hours and 30 minutes away. and my family hates driving. i kinda slipped the question to my mom in the form of "maybe i can visit a college i want to transfer to in *state name*" and she's not interested and lowkey shut it down. i know they'd never let me go on my own so i'm kinda thinking of bribing them? horrible i know but i really need to do this again.

opinions?
