Groups with "weak vocals" still release music and their vocal color can appear to a lot of people who like their music more than groups with "strong vocals",
they need to raise their standards

For me, music comes first but it's about the songs, not the vocals. If the artists have superb vocals but shit/noise songs, I still won't stan. But if they have good songs and their vocals can pull it off then it's fine by me. We don't listen to music based off vocals only, we listen because we like the music we hear (that includes the instrumentals, beats and the vocals in it)

Yeah because their kpop fanbase is big so people in America that already like kpop which is a big minority everyone else disrespect them even celebs and we all know it lol I just wished kpop would stop trying so hard to please the west because they don’t care and it’s embarrassing

I live in Miami and they’re right in the way kpop is massively looked down upon
people do make fun of kpop over here in general from BTS to TWICE and I don’t trust celebrities most of them are fake and only engage publicly to better their status. They mostly see BTS as the token asian boys and it’s the same with every other kpop group People think kpop itself is the name of a group so that summons up the respect the US has for kpop… -

Honestly, I appreciate those who have a lot of talent dancing too, but some of you out more weight in stage presence/ dancing than actual singing.
What subjective taste? Most of the time we're just listening to the songs without watching the perfomances and no amount of stage presence or dancing skills can save you there if they have weak vocals.
Why? When vocal groups like Mamamoo, Brown Eyed Girls and 2AM aren't as popular?
y'all payed them dust and look what happened!
4th gen are now bunch of pretty performers, I can name very few talented groups with only my hands. There used to be some SINGERS, where are they now?
