Pick your fighter status:
- "well I'm a 2nd gen stan,"
- "I'm a 3rd gen stan and back in my day-"
- "I'm a 4th gen stan but I am special, not like other 4th gen stans, therefore I-"
- "4th gen hasn't even started yet" (chaos option)
Pick your battlefield:
- 4TH GEN VOCALS BAD
- this is a generation of performers not dancers :///
- rappers of this gen are underwhelming,
- nOiSe mUsiC (tired option)
Pick your weapon:
- I received a total of 3 vocal lessons (pick this option if you have a cousin-twice-removed who sung as a musical in college that one time) (also pick this option if your great grandmother was in church choir)
- I am a huge khh and krnb fan; therefore I have extensive knowledge on rapping, y'all know nothing-
- I HAVE DANCED MY WHOLE LIFE AND I-
- I can find the middle C in a piano which is equivalent to being a producer with a respectable k-pop company
- They will never be (insert 3rd gen group)
Bonus - pick your shield:
- Disclaimer that you aren't hating on them
- Disclaimer that you listen to their music on the regular
- Disclaimer that you love the members' personalities
- Disclaimer that you're new to reddit/fan spaces
- Disclaimer that you "love their visuals tho"
Here's are a couple of examples:
"4th gen vocals aren't as great as 3rd gen because I remember that one time Jongho couldn't hit B5 with ease, as told to me by my neighbour who is 11 years old and is a part her school choir. Don't get me wrong, I love ateez music, but Jongho should probably work on his vocals to impress me :/"
"All 4th gen music sounds the same. This can be attributed to how talentless self-producing groups are. My 2nd gen stan self is used to having big-name producers make their songs, which are miles ahead and don't sound so noisy all the time. I don't care for self-production. Disclaimer alert: I love bang chan's personality tho he's so great!!!"
Helpful tips:
- Don't introduce variety at all. Always pick tired topics that are easy to talk about and have been beaten to death already
- Slide in some scandals the group has had here and there. This ensures that the fans of the group will flock under the post to correct the misinformation you presented, and makes it easier for people to think of them as delulu and agree with you instead as you will seem rational and informed
- Never edit your post to reflect the corrections people have made to your points
- Don't engage with those who disagree, oNLY reply to those who agree with you
