what did sm do to bts?

please mods approve this thread. i really want to know the answer to this question.

when I say sm I mean the company and the groups. many army act like sm killed their pet or ruined their family crops with the intensity they hate them and I wonder why. i never saw any of these people bring real proof that sm antagonised bts or tried to sabotage them, even the plagiarism accusations are always ridiculous and amount to nct wearing a similar color to bts or playing badminton in the grass in a sunny day. all the accusations about sm using bts for mediaplay are also ridiculous because they were never backed with a single real proof, i even remember an sm executive once praising bts profusely in an interview and most sm artists seem to be in friendly terms with bts members. so please quench my curiosity, what happened????? this kind of loathing is not normal, it's becoming an obsession atp so there has to be a good enough reason right? what is it?

Don't they just project their hate for SM stans onto the groups and the company?

nothing in particular, it's just an ongoing issue. some people sound like they hate sm more than they like bts.

That's what I assumed to, but I'm trying to give them the benefit of the doubt and see it there's actually a real reason for all this hatred.

I have seen more threads about how SM or their idols are hated than the actual hate.

I feel like because SM are climbing to the top now, their fans need to be relevant and link everything to BTS in hope for their faves to be mentioned by a bigger audience than their own fandom. It’s annoying and then when they got clapped back, they will play victim.

You see. Every fandom will think it’s the other fandom that is problematic. But the truth is, every fandom is just as whiny and think everything revolves around them.

read the reactions to this twitter's posts that are related to SM, they are always filled with army being unbelievably hateful, unless there is nothing controversial that can be extracted from the post.

i won't mention names but there are army here that are very interested in sm's finances, lee soman's shares, his woman friend, how many cups of water he drinks every day, his favorite color of boxer briefs and etcetera. you will never see a fan of an sm group make these threads or even talk about these things, not even the hardcore company stan, it is always those same army keeping is updated.

and pretty much every week we get a new thread made by an army about how nct i mean sm are plagiarising bts by making their idols sit at a pool side, touch grass and have a sleepover at a vaccation house in the countryside. not to mention the obsession with sm's album sales, pre-orders reveals and such.
