On September 14, singer Ahn Ji Young, also known as Bolbbalgan4, greeted fans for the first time in approximately 10 months through a fan cafe post.
September 14 also marked Ahn Ji Young's 27th birthday, and on this day, she began, "How have you been? It's been so long. I've been trying to muster up the courage to greet you all time and again, but in the end I couldn't until my birthday arrived."
She continued, "Many of you may be wondering what I've been up to, through the different seasons that have passed. Although it's a little embarrassing and shameful admit, for a time, I was not well. I was extremely fatigued, and I was struggling both physically and emotionally. I also considered the fact that I did my best for 4 years and yielded fruitful results, and maybe that was enough. But still, I am visiting the hospital regularly and am taking medicine, trying my best in my own way to return to you all once again. Also, because of the help of so many people around me, I am slowly returning to the ordinary."
Finally, Ahn Ji Young relayed, "I've decided that from now on, since I am still quite tired, it would be more worthwhile for me to go much more slowly, at my own pace while resting here and there, making music for a long time."
Ahn Ji Young also thanked fans who have been sending her encouraging messages, and asked them to wait just a little longer for her return to activities.
