  • Japanese is the EASIEST out of all of them

    In college I spoke to a Korean classmate who grew up in Japan until 12 and then attended international school in Shanghai. She said that if I wanted to learn Japanese, Korean and Chinese (like her) then knowing Japanese first is an advantage because it has the same grammar as Korean and will also give you the basic Chinese loan words that form a lot of vocabulary in all three countries.


    Vietnamese also has a lot of Chinese loan words and has tones like Chinese (actually tones more than Mandarin. )
