it's like pastry dough with like jam baked on it... I've never had the dessert version, only the Texas version which are quite good. They use the same pastry dough but wraps it around a sausage with cheese (and jalapeños). The dough has just a hint of sweetness that sets it apart from something like a biscuit.

me too! but I had some like the ones that are in the pic that were cream cheese. They where so yummy..
