Was Girls Planet prejudiced to SEAs?

The requirement was the contestants had to be citizens of China, Korea, Japan or be trainees from a company in those countries. Obviously there’s a chance for SEA to join but it dramatically decreases their chances with those rules. I don’t think there’s any ethnic SEA in GP999.
