This year was very important for my kpop journey that started in 2019. I joined the kpop forum Allkpop and I followed my favorite groups more than ever. I also began to listen to various artists much more, allowing myself to discover much more artists that i decided to start following more closely. Here is a list of 5 artists I started following this year and the song that sparked my interest : 1. Cherry Bullet : https://youtu.be/9OZPwJdl_4w Easily one of the best releases of 2021, the song is an absolute masterpiece and I couldn't stop replaying this song for days. It's still one of my most listened song today and one of my all time kpop favorite. Before LSS, I already listened to their title tracks but i decided to take a deep dive into their entire discography and now Aloha Oe and Q&A are some of my all time favorites too ! I eagerly await their next comeback and hope they can touch more people. 2. Woo!ah! https://youtu.be/hPzz4cRxtco So I already knew them with Bad Girl but I didn't listen to it that much so when this song came up in the recommended videos of Youtube I didn't think too much about it. This song is an absolute bop and Woo!ah! quickly became one of my favorite groups ! 3. Weeekly https://youtu.be/qfVuRQX0ydQ Best release of 2021 (with LSS) hands down. Weeekly absolutely killed it and I just couldn't stop stanning them. Of course I knew them before, and I already though about stanning them when I discovered some of the members are massive Orbits but I couldn't decide to do it. After this comeback I couldn't hide anymore, and I fully embraced my love for their music. 4. Enhypen https://youtu.be/Fc7-Oe0tj5k So I'm an asshole cz when they debuted in 2020, I just though oh TXT with more members with typical Big Hit songs... What an idiot I was and Drunk-Dazed came like enormous explosion sweeping every bias and unwarranted opinions I had before. Their music is an absolute masterpiece that can't be ignored, they are a super group, they attract everyone like a magnet and you just can't stop listening. They are the future and I will follow them wherever they bring their music. 5. Kang Daniel https://youtu.be/zLrWIgkvoB0 I'm an absolute moron and for whatever reason I just decided to not listen to Kang Daniel before this year. So of course, when in April I decided to try to listen to this very interesting song that kept popping up in my recommendations I was really surprised. I missed on so many masterpieces I can't even count them. Kang Daniel might not have the best vocals nor the best rap but his songs are bonkers and you all should give it a try, this artist is a genius.
