So when are ifans actually going to do something about CA

  • So Afghans can claim American culture because US soldiers were stationed there? Think about it.

It's not the same thing. You can't be this dense. LOL

Culture exchange happens even when a country/territory is dominated by another. It's what happened when the Mongols invaded Eurasia. The Mongols literally TOOK OVER Jeju.

If you're not at least Mongol, you should shut the fuck up. You're getting offended on behalf of other people. It's embarrassing at this point.

Jeju was a mostly sparse island, there was nothing for the Mongols to conquer. They just occupied it as an outpost after conquering the main Korean cities in the peninsula. The Mongols were just passing by Jeju on their way to attempt to conquer Japan. And just like English terms or dim sum, foreign cultural elements can travel anywhere. The problem is trying to manipulate a distorted connection. Koreans can’t claim culture from an invading force. Teepee’s aren’t at all part of Korean culture even if Mongols in their land use something similar.

They weren't passing by. Do some research before coming with your usual gibberish.

"For the next one hundred years, the Mongols held sway over Jeju Island, intermarrying with the inhabitants." from a book about Jeju Island.

"In 1273, the Mongolian Yuan Dynasty established a military governor on the island, and for nearly a hundred years the island was effectively under the complete control of these governors."

You are right that some Mongols didn't just pass there temporarily but actually settled and intermarried, but they were simply absorbed into the Korean population. Likewise, there are many white Americans who have Native American ancestry, yet no white identifying American is allowed to wear a feather headdress without getting called out. My point still stands.
