Yeah it's actually pretty impressive.

Thing is Twice will still comfortably sell out dome tours but with physicals you rely so much on people collecting/wanting fan-signs and whatnot, especially with girl groups. As soon as they miss out on one album due to JYPE giving them a million and one things to buy and butchering the fansigns last year, the want disappears by force or choice. At that point you're then thinking If I missed out on one I can miss out on another, though actually I'm now less fussed on missing out and so on and so forth.

It's why maintaining momentum is so key as there are so many other groups fans can jump onto and then not bother with the last one anymore. I'm sure Nizi have taken a bunch themselves as at the point JYPE were alienating Japanese Twice fans the most it also coincided with Nizi's debut. Why would younger Japanese fans pick Twice to follow now when their content/promotion is so lacking as well. It is what it is at this point though. They've driven away the old fans and not given them any chance to grow with new ones which is why the numbers are as they are.
