this happens a LOT. check to see if that area of your scalp is red and if so add a small amount coconut or olive oil to it to sooth the irritation

I guess try to find a pair of glasses or try to find a way to wear those glasses that doesn't pinch at your hair. The damage is done but you have to let it heal as best you can.
