Sexy concepts are riskier, which group with sexy concept had a big fandom? They depend on the public too much. It's just normal companies prefer to go for safer concepts where at least if the public doesn't support they have a fandom. And concepts go for trends anyway.

Looking at how rampant sexual exploitation is in the industry I would whole heartedly cheer on teen crush concepts. Female idols have been scarred for life watching their image be distorted and have suffered a lot within the industry as well. I don't to want my fave or any other idol suffer through the same.
Empowering can be a lot of things not just sexy. I think we should start exploring other avenues than shoving idols into sexy concepts.
