Is it? I've seen so many fans and the gp feel betrayed when idols either share their real goals that are different from the text book goals shown from debut. A case in point is Jessica who chose to do business together with music and they almost burried her. Another example is the people who sound betrayed by Lisa and BP too. They claim the idols debuted as innocent girls acting bad but now they've grown into real bada**es who don't give af about Korean or Asian culture and just dress and do as they wish. This is also common when idols choose to date or get married. Is it really betrayal? Do idols promise what they can't deliver verbally or through their actions at debut and once they make it, they change and stop caring about the thoughts of the fans and people who helped them get popular in the first place? Should fans and the gp be blamed for feeling fooled by idols at debut only for them to change years down the road after supporting them so much? Lol! Edit: I had a conversation with someone online who felt really disappointed in their favs and I've encountered many who think the same. They feel like they are forced to support what they didn't sign up for and they don't want to stop supporting their favs?! Lol! Is it betrayal or no?
