What do you think of Katseye’s new song Internet Girl?

  • What a weird thing to say

Not really. When they have been dancing around in tiny bras and hot pants and hump the floor and grind on each other. Exactly like Strippers do. And this isn't shaming or anything. That's literally what a Stripper does. And if they like it ok, but the sound doesn't fit.

  • What I find so weird about this group is that many of their lyrics make their songs feel like they're aimed squarely at children, or perhaps were even written by children, while other aspects of their whole shtick are completely inappropriate for a young audience. They need to decide who their target audience actually is, because this bipolar approach is going to leave them in a weird limbo that minimizes their reach.

I'm so old that when I was a kid twerking wasn't even mainstream but pop music was still heavily sexualised. Like it or not but sexy teens pop stars is the most sellable market there is. Every age group is their audience even the 8 year olds.

  • Could have been ever better

  • I don't even understand this group. What is their concept supposed to be? Their music is always jumping from one genre to the next. Can they stick to one thing? Does hybe and geffen even know what they want to do with them? Gnarly and now this. They are great singers and dancers but their talent and charisma are being wasted on slop like this.

I'm not quite a spring chicken myself, but pop music aimed at children was never this sexualized back in the day. People would laugh at what parents and the media found controversial back then, if this is where we're at now. While I have no doubt that children would find a vulgar group like Katseye appealing, they have no business being marketed to that demographic. I had to do a double take when I saw them scheduled for the Kids' Choice Awards.

  • Their creative team has no idea what they're doing, gnarly and Gabriela both were written for other artists and had been in the vault for years, they're a Grammy nominated gg now, hybe need to let them write, or at least give them some originals.
