Cute. The song is safe, but I like it more with each listen. I wouldn't even mind if they included a Japanese version on their first Japanese release, whenever that may be.

I think it’s great for a pre release! The girls keep mentioning Focus is very different in comparison

My first impression was "pleasant," and, for me, pleasant is a good starting point. As I expected it would, it's definitely been growing on me. They made some effective vocal choices and the adlibs at the end are a highlight for me. The most jarring part for me is the switch-up for the rap section, but it's not a huge deal; I'm used to it by now. I know "safe" often has negative connotations, but sometimes safe is the right path. Even though it's probably their best overall vocal showcase, it's still a fairly comfortable song they can use to grow their confidence for live performances. They can't keep performing "Gee" forever. In any case, I like this pocket for them, and it fits their image nicely.

I think you have to remember hat this isn't just any promo song. It's going to be included in the upcoming game, Pokemon Legends: Z-A, so it's catered to a game than solely for promo reasons 🙂‍↕️🙂‍↕️

I see a lot of people saying the rap part didn’t go well with everything else but I disagree, I loved it! I think the timing was right and it flows quite naturally almost like ITNW the dance part that changes the beat then snaps back!

Overall I love the song and it’s very catchy! I agree sometimes safe is the best option especially for a prerelease song! Last thing they would want is people deciding not to listen to their album based of the dislike for this one song and overall Pretty Please has a great response in Korea and Globally. At the very most it’s in offensive lol

The switch-up is certainly more subtle than some that come to mind. Maybe I was just thoroughly enjoying the bassline and ended up being a little disappointed when it changed temporarily.

I'm glad you like it. Overall, it's a sound I enjoy too.
