While I can't say this cleared everything up like I had hoped, there were definitely some insights behind the concept, and most importantly, it was highly entertaining. The girls really worked hard on such an abstract project. I've always admired Koo Kyohwan's acting, but seeing him behind the camera giving the girls direction and guidance really brought my respect to a new level. Everyone seemed comfortable on set, too, which is lovely to see.
Given the unfamiliar nature of the trailer and the prospect of acting alongside a bonafide actor, the girls' gracious words of gratitude at the end truly conveyed how supported they felt during the filming. I wasn't even aware that Koo Kyohwan and Director Lee Ok Seop have been in a long-term romantic relationship and have worked on many projects together.
Although the trailer is confusing—perhaps deliberately so—everyone worked hard together to create something wonderfully wacky, not to mention a really positive and memorable experience for the girls.
