A Midsummer's Winter
aespa’s Winter has graced the cover of ELLE’s special project, “D Edition”...On set, Winter showcased a professional and passionate attitude, perfectly embodying the charming concept of the shoot.
An interview followed the photoshoot. aespa, known for delivering intensity that goes beyond “metallic” and hits “petroleum-level” with their first single album Dirty Work, was asked about her first impression of the song. She replied, “It felt like tanning hot and sticky under the blazing sun,” and added, “It reminded me of the movie ‘Mad Max: Fury Road.’”
With the group’s third world tour, <2025 aespa LIVE TOUR – SYNK : aeXIS LINE>, on the horizon, Winter shared her excitement:
“I’m especially looking forward to the tour because we’ll be performing new songs. We’ve gained experience through our previous two world tours, so I think we can now showcase a more seasoned and high-level stage as the more mature aespa.”
When asked if her strong and grounded mindset was something she was born with, the performer said, “I worked hard to become stronger a little earlier than others — because I’m the only one who can protect myself.”
Asked what ability she would want to have if she could choose one, Winter said, “The ability to time travel.” She added, “If I could travel through time and space, I’d go to the past. It’s not that I want to change anything or that I have regrets — I just want to fill each day in the past with a little more happiness and joy. Since I can’t time travel, I value the present even more.”
