I know Jiwoo gets praised for her visuals a lot, but she's not just a pretty face, she's a charismatic performer too. It was a fun, high energy performance. It's always nice to see collaborations too, especially seeing peers interacting and supporting each other.

Yeah, sorry, I didn't mean to imply otherwise. I just meant it stood out to me in those clips. I'm not really familiar with the rhetoric outside of the frequent praise for her visuals, which is clearly justified. I was just impressed is all, and the overall stage, though short, was great. The two groups gelled well together.

No, I didn’t take offence! I was just waffling on about how antis always said Jiwoo looked like a deer in headlights

Even if that were the case, particularly off stage, isn't it interesting how what these negative nancies perceive as some sort of personal flaw or imperfection to an established image of what an idol should be, can be seen as endearing, charming, or entertaining to actual fans, and even appreciated? After all, idols are people too, and they're as varied and quirky as any of the rest of us. I just think some folk suffer from a slight form of cognitive dissonance; they prefer predictable, polished robots even though in the same breath they'll claim to want authenticity and to see an idol's genuine personality rather than a manufactured façade.
Yeah, in those clips in particular, you can tell she's having a wonderful time during that stage. Even though I'm not super familiar with their live performances, I see no reason why this instance wouldn't translate to their other performances.

Kpop fans are the worst type of haters! They nitpick everything! If it’s not vocals it’s visuals, if not visuals it’s dancing, if not dancing it’s rapping skills, if not rap it’s stage presence, if not stage presence it’s lack of facial expressions and if not that it’s their aura they always micro-assess everything especially when they dislike the idol/group

Yeah, it's for this exact reason I've actively tried to stay away from all of the negativity that gets spread across the internet within the Kpop sphere. It can be an arduous task at times. It's the same reason I stay away from the charts/success debates here that happen so frequently, and only try to spread positive words or things people may enjoy. I literally have no reason to say anything bad about any idol, even those I'm not particularly fond of. I don't understand how some folk genuinely get obsessively negative over things that have no tangible bearing on their life. I didn't get into Kpop to spend all my time arguing over things that don't affect me. As a multi-fan, I'm just happy when the groups I like are active, enjoying their work and journey despite the bumps, and are able to pay their bills when all is said and done.
Yeah, it's great and all, but to me it still seems like a waste of time and energy disproving something that was nonsense in the first place, especially when their time and energy could be better spent elsewhere. It's just such a tiring merry-go-round. But it's definitely reassuring and satisfying when the idol/s you like are able to give their detractors the middle finger, although not literally, yet sometimes I wish...
