    she is amazing, i knew about her when she was still in her indie era but didn't pay much attention back then it wasn't until 2023 that i really got into her, her album GENE was released in the later part of 2024 but still became my most listened release of last year i legit listen to her pretty much daily (favorite song of hers is LAZY btw) i would say that among all active J soloist she is currently my favorite

    That song is very good and i also liked the song below on that project. It's a very good project. I should probably do another listen today. She's a talented j soloist and whenever she pops up I always gravitate to her music and listen to more tracks from her. There's something about her energy and vocals that draws me to her music.

    All to myself is amazing, legit that was the song that convinced me from "i'll listen to her stuff if there is something new" to "hey if you aren't listening to ako daily you are wasting you day"

    glad to hear you love her too, she is pretty special, i don't know enough about the technical aspects to classify her style but she has a nice mix of pop, rock and jazz going in there and ako the person seems pretty cool, really chill and she writes her own music, play the guitar in her songs, etc (also she is friends with Rina from SCANDAL too which is a massive plus!)

    can't really describe her sound, but I agree she fuses different genres in her music.I think that's what I like about some of the current jpop artist in that they mix genres like jazz and rock, but still have a pop sound. I think her vocals really draws me in. There's just something about it where it blends well with the sounds and it's very unique. Also, think she can put emotions in her tracks, so she doesn't sound too monotone. I feel sometimes with artist lik her the vocals can be a bit monotone, but I don't get that from her.


    Also very cool that she's super talented in that she plays instruments too.


    My only gripe is her name makes it very hard to find stuff, but was able to find her channels and whatnot. I watched some of her live performances on YouTube and they're very good.

    the "a子" does look more unique but is confusing lol, i just write her name without using the 子


    and yeah kinda awkward to search for her very early stuff specially live performances since they don't show without the kanji, thankfully she has been moving to using "Ako" instead, much better in my opinion

    I love her music and this is a good watch
