what's the point of all those singing competition shows? did anyone become a star or at least know to gp? all that work and nervous breakdowns over nothing
21 seasons of The Voice and not a single superstar...is what's sending me 
M*rg*n W*llen or Melanie Martinez(she didn't even win the season) would be the closest but this show is pretty much just a ratings farm(and even in that department it's failing).

i know kelly clarkson, adam lambert and jennifer handson are from american idol. i know of carrie underwood but i don't think her songs are known outside the us/canada and perhaps australia?
you censored the first name, he must be really problematic :D let me guess, racist? or sexual assault? it must be one of those two. i think melanie was problematic too? 
too much work and stress for nothing. i hope at least the winner's prize is nice.
we also have a singing competition that's lately become only about ratings too but up till four years ago the show was able to produce stars/successful singers out of winners and non-winners. 30 at least, maybe even more. it's interesting that most of the winners were men but the most successful and popular singers are women.
